An Omega-3 studied for how well it's absorbed
Our Omega-3 uses AvailOm®, which binds the fatty acids to the amino acid L-lysine. In a published human study it was shown to be over 5× more bioavailable and more rapidly absorbed than standard fish-oil capsules.
Each daily serving (2 tablets) provides 250 mg of DHA. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.* It also helps avoid the fishy reflux and aftertaste of traditional fish oil.

Quatrefolic® — the active form of folate
Quatrefolic® (5-MTHF methylfolate) is a "finished" folate — already in the active form, so the body doesn't need to convert it first. You get the 400 µg daily level recommended by the UK Department of Health for women trying to conceive and through early pregnancy.
Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status; low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400 µg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. The development of neural tube defects has multiple risk factors.
From algae, not fish
Our Omega-3 is grown from sustainable marine algae (Schizochytrium sp.) in a controlled environment — not harvested from the ocean. That means it's fish-free, allergen-free and free from heavy metals, avoiding the contamination associated with fish oil.
We also leave out titanium dioxide (an additive no longer authorised as a food additive in the EU), plus added sugar, gelatin, lactose and artificial colours.
